The Peak-End Rule
Your brain is a pathological liar. 🧠 It doesn't remember your life as it actually happened. Instead, it uses the "Peak-End Rule" to rewrite your history. In my research, I found that we only store two snapshots of any event: the most intense moment and the very end. Everything else gets deleted.- You can suffer for hours, but if the last 5 minutes are great, you’ll remember it as a win.
- A perfect vacation can be ruined by one bad flight home.Stop trying to make every second perfect. Focus on the peaks and the finish line. 🏁How is your memory tricking you? Link in bio! 👇
